Monitor your electric fences remotely with the Farmo Electric Fence Sensor. Clip the leads onto your electric fence and receive alerts whenever there's a fault that needs fixing. The 7000mAH Lithium battery will last for over a year before needing to be replaced.

The Farmo electric fence monitor will monitor any type or brand of electric fence that is on your farm. You can check the current reading and historical records on your Farmo dashboards or just have alerts sent directly to your phone or computer.

The  Farmo Electric Fence Sensor will report the voltage at regular intervals, as well as real time alerts when the voltage drops below your trigger point. 

• Periodic Reports every 4 hours by default
• If the voltage drops below the threshold trigger, a report is sent within 15 minutes 
• Default low threshold trigger depth is 1kV

Real time trigger report is activated when the voltage level drops below, and then again when the voltage level returns above the trigger point.

The cables might get chewed if they are exposed to livestock. If you have these issues try to place the sensor or cable where it cant be accessed by animals. If they do get chewed and you need replacements we have spare cables for purchase here.

Data is sent via NB-IoT which is the long-range, low-cost version of 4G for IoT devices. The signal for NB-IoT travels further than 3G/4G, so if your mobile phone has any reception on site, then NB-IoT devices will work there.
