Gateway Outdoor RAK7240 4G with external antenna
- Description

-
The RAK7240 Outdoor 4G Gateway provides LoRaWAN coverage and transmits the data sent from your sensors to your dashboards for visualisation.
The gateway can be installed inside for easy access, and only the LoRa antenna needs to be mounted outside.
You need to purchase your own data SIM card to put in the gateway (or be in range of Wi-Fi coverage) and have 240V power at the installation site. By default the gateway is configured to work on The Things Network public access servers, which is a free access service but does not include any service level agreements (SLAs). There are alternative service providers that charge a fee for restricted access and guaranteed support and these will be more suitable for some end users. The gateway can be configured either way.
Farmo will provide free support with remote monitoring, and firmware upgrades for the first 12 months, after which you can decide to purchase a support package or maintain it independently.
