VIC farmers can claim a 50% rebate (up to $5,000) on all Farmo products through the Victorian Government's Farm Drought Support Grants.

To be eligible for the grant, you must:


1. Own, share-farm, or lease a primary production business located in an eligible local government area.


2. Be registered as a primary producer with an ABN and GST.


3. Either:

Earn at least 51% of your gross income from farming or;

Have invested $50,000 or more into your farm (excluding land purchases).

Minimum: $1,000 (ex. GST)


Maximum: $10,000 (ex. GST)

You will be able to claim a 50% rebate on the amount spent within the above range.

All Farmo products are eligible.

    Step 1: Submit Form



  • Check your eligibility and read the grant guidelines.

  • Get a quote for the infrastructure you plan to install.

  • Complete and submit the application form to Rural Finance.


    Step 2: Approval

  • You’ll receive either in-principle approval or rejection.

  • If approved, you’ll have 3 months to make your purchase.

  • You may be contacted by Agriculture Victoria for guidance.


    Step 3: Install & Pay

  • Purchase and install your equipment.

  • Keep all invoices and receipts.


    Step 4: Claim Your Rebate

  • Submit proof of payment to Rural Finance.

  • Your rebate (up to $5,000 ex. GST) will be reimbursed to your nominated account.
