This program is designed for rural stores, tradespeople, installers, agents, and community-based service providers who want to offer Farmo products to their customers without holding stock. Both storefront resellers and individual resellers fit into this program.

1. How to Join the Program

Before placing any reseller orders or offering Farmo products to customers, you must register as an approved reseller.

To register Email support@farmo.com.au or submit the contact form below, with your details and your interest in becoming a reseller. We will confirm your onboarding, and activate you in our internal system. Only approved resellers can access reseller pricing and place orders under this program.

2. How the Reseller Model Works

Once approved:

  • You recommend Farmo products to your customers.
  • When a customer wishes to purchase, you place the order directly on Farmo’s website using your dedicated reseller discount code.
  • You then invoice or sell the product to your customer at the Recommended Retail Price (RRP).
  • You provide ongoing support and assistance to the customer as needed.
  • There is no requirement to hold stock, all products can be ordered on an as-needed basis.

3. Who Can Become a Reseller?

This program is ideal for:

  • Rural supply stores
  • Pump & irrigation shops
  • Electricians
  • Fencing contractors
  • Livestock agents
  • Farm consultants
  • Independent sales representatives
  • Rural machinery & equipment service providers
  • Any regional business offering support to farmers or farmsites
  • Etc..

4. Eligible Products

  • Resellers may purchase and resell Farmo hardware products.
  • Subscriptions (monthly device fees)
    • billed directly by Farmo
    • not included in the reseller margin.

4. Ordering Products

You can order directly from Farmo’s website using the discount code provided to you as a reseller.

5. Pricing & Margin

Reseller margin depends on your business type:

  • Storefront Reseller (physical shopfront): 20% margin off RRP
  • Individual Reseller (installer, agent, contractor, consultant): 15% margin

Resellers receive a standard discount off retail pricing. This margin allows you to sell the product at Farmo’s Recommended Retail Price (RRP).

Important pricing rules:

  • Resellers must not sell below RRP.
  • Misquoted prices are the responsibility of the reseller; Farmo will not absorb margin errors.
  • If pricing or margin needs adjustment (e.g., due to performance or volume), Farmo will discuss this directly with you.

6. What Resellers are expected to do

To stay active in the Farmo Reseller Program and earn commissions, resellers are expected to:

  1. Report Activity Monthly: Submit a brief update on leads, referrals, or sales.
  2. Provide Feedback: Share insights on what’s working, challenges faced, and suggestions for improvement.

6. Customer Support Responsibilities

As a reseller, you are the customer’s first point of contact for:

  • Product explanation
  • Choosing the right device
  • Basic setup and activation
  • First-line troubleshooting
  • App setup support

Farmo provides:

  • Advanced technical support
  • Warranty processing
  • Subscription and account management

For advanced or technical issues, you may direct customers to Farmo Support. Resellers must not handle account or password recovery, customers should contact Farmo directly.

7. Returns & Order Changes

Farmo follows a standard Returns Policy:

  • If a customer changes their mind after the reseller has already placed the order, return shipping costs may apply.
  • Incorrect orders caused by the reseller (wrong product, wrong SKU) are the reseller’s responsibility.
  • Refunds for subscriptions cannot be processed by the reseller; these are managed directly by Farmo.
  • Commission or margin does not apply to refunded/cancelled orders.

8. Product Knowledge Expectations

Resellers are expected to:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Stay updated with new product releases
  • Review any updates sent by Farmo

If in doubt, resellers should always ask Farmo before advising customers. Farmo is not responsible for issues caused by incorrect information given by the reseller.

9. Sales & Channel Policies

To maintain fairness across all sales channels:

  • Resellers must not claim exclusivity unless formally granted.
  • Resellers may not represent themselves as the only supplier in a region.
  • Resellers must not undercut Farmo’s pricing online or offline.
  • If multiple resellers operate in the same area, sales are based on customer choice.
  • If a customer chooses to buy directly from Farmo, the reseller cannot claim margin.

If a reseller becomes inactive for 6 months, they may be placed on inactive status. After 12 months of inactivity, reseller status may be revoked.

10. Special Circumstances

We understand that unique situations may arise, ordering errors, customer-specific issues, overlapping sales interactions, or product misunderstandings. If anything unusual comes up, just reach out. Farmo is always happy to review special cases and work through them with you.
