We’re getting ready to release our latest Farmo App version in July 2025, with many big updates. Designed in collaboration with real farmers, this version introduces powerful new tools that give you more control, greater automation, and better visibility across your farm — all from the palm of your hand.

With a cleaner interface and intuitive workflows, the Farmo App makes it easier than ever to stay connected to your farm — whether you’re in the paddock or in town.

Here’s a preview of what’s coming:

Schedule Reports – Let the Data Come to You

Tracking your farm’s performance is about to get easier. With Scheduled Reports, you’ll be able to receive custom reports straight to your inbox — automatically, at a frequency that suits you.

Once set, your reports like the one below will arrive regularly - no manual action needed.

Compare Rainfall to the Nearest Weather Station

Want to know how much rain you’re getting compared to nearby weather stations? The Farmo App now makes that possible.

The new Compare to Location feature allows Farmo rain gauges to show the nearest official weather station based on your device’s location.

This gives you a reliable benchmark to compare your own rainfall data with long-term official trends.

Compare to Long Term Average – Visual Insights Built In

Understanding short-term rainfall is important. Comparing it to historical averages adds vital context.

App v4 introduces overlay charts that put your rainfall data with long-term averages — directly on the Device Parameter Details page.

What to expect:

• A new toggle to enable comparison mode
  

• Overlay charts displaying your readings vs. historical averages
  

• Automatic data fetch based on your configured location
  

Note: You must first enable “Compare to Location” to use this feature. If a comparison location isn’t set, the app will prompt you before enabling.

Configure Water Level Monitors Remotely

For Water Level Monitors with the latest firmware, you’ll soon be able to adjust key settings over the air — right from the app.

From the Configure screen, you’ll be able to modify:

• Report Period – how often the device sends data
  

• Upper Threshold – the high water level trigger
  

• Lower Threshold – the low water level trigger
  

These settings are saved directly to the device, helping you fine-tune performance and reduce site visits.

A Quick Reminder: 7/30 Day Graph Picker & Data Export Are Already Live

While we’re looking ahead to App v4, don’t forget that you can already view long trends more easily with the 7-day and 30-day graph options, available across all devices.

Need to work offline or share insights with others? You can also export your data with a single tap, right from the settings page — you’ll receive data for the required time period straight to your inbox.
